What we collect
When you register, we collect your first name, last name, and email address to create and manage your account. These are kept private and are never shown to other users — only your chosen moniker (and optional business name, if you set one) is shown publicly.
We also collect:
- ZIP code and, if you host an event, a street address — used to show events near you and to calculate distance. Addresses you enter as a host are only released to attendees you've accepted; they're never shown publicly.
- A device identifier (Apple's vendor identifier) — used to help detect duplicate accounts created to evade a ban. This is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
- Content you create — events, RSVPs, messages sent through the app, ratings, and reports.
How we use it
Your data is used solely to operate the app: creating your account, showing you relevant events, processing your RSVPs, calculating trust ratings, relaying messages between attendees and hosts without exposing email addresses directly, and responding to reports or support requests.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking across other apps or websites.
Where it's stored
Data is stored in a Google Sheet managed by the app's developer, accessed only through a private backend script. It is not shared with third parties except as required to operate the app (e.g., Google's infrastructure, which hosts the Sheet and backend).
Payments
Any fees for paid or donation-based events are arranged directly between attendees and hosts, outside of the app. We do not process, store, or have access to payment information.
Your choices
You can edit your moniker and business name at any time from your Profile. You can permanently delete your account — including your events, RSVPs, and ratings — at any time from your Profile screen.

This is a draft. Replace [DATE] and review with appropriate legal counsel before publishing, especially given the app collects location-adjacent data (ZIP/address) and hosts user-generated content.
